Bicycle Hire in Ha’apai

Bicycles are a popular way to make your way around the islands of Lifuka and Foa in the Ha’apai Group. Some resorts offer free use of bikes for guests, which are a bit rusty (the joys of living on an island) but were still functional the last time we checked.

Note that the bicycle rentals at Ha’apai’s resorts are “Tongan style” bikes, i.e. the brakes are by peddling backwards, rather than on the handlebars. Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it in no time.
